Situation and project description: 
Located in the heart of Silicon Valley in a highly competitive market, VCU needed a unique branch identity that would serve a multi-cultural, multi-generational market and their unique needs.   They needed a strong, branch business model and branded branch prototype that could be implemented in new branches and enhance the existing branches.

Description of work:
After auditing existing branches, we made recommendations for bold merchandising and design to differentiate VCU from the surrounding financial institutions.  EHS Design + Weber Marketing Group worked with VCU to create a new sales-culture model, a common VCU message, a retail-oriented concept, and a new model focused on building relationships.

The new concept showcases VCU as the one place dedicated to helping members reach the American Dream for a home, education, car, boat, college, and retirement.  It is youthful, modern and bold, ethnically-inspired with a fiesta palette of colors, and expressive.  Playful materials, punches of color, all lend to creating a unique environment.

The result is an environment and experience not be forgotten.  At every corner, members are able to learn about the many services that VCU offers through a carefully engineered environment that promotes relationship building and customer education.  The branches brings to life Valley Credit Union's new slogan "People, Passion, Possibilities" in a tangible format that connects to members' lifestyles, identities, and needs.
