Weyerhaeuser Employees' Credit Union

Weyerhaeuser Employees' Credit Union had outgrown its core market. WIth over 40% market penetration and key SEO member groups in neighboring markets, CEO Bob Kane and his management team turned to Paul Seibert to develop a long-term branch plan outlining strategic expansion recommendations.

A high visibility Federal Way, Wash. site was identified. Weyerhaeuser hired EHS to fine-tune their brand and translate it into a powerful community branch facility capable of capitalizing on the chosen expansion market.

Designed for growth, the 5000 square foot facility houses the branch and allows for surplus space to be leased until growth demands expansion. The facility mirrors the service style and traditional warm feel developed by EHS in previous work on the main branch headquarters and nearby Longview, Wash. branches completed during the 10-year relationship between EHS and the Weyerhaeuser team.

By creating greater transaction convenience through drive-through and teller automation, Weyerhaeuser was able to enhance their hands-on service style and dedicate more branch area to relationship development and high value services.

The transition is seamless. Members instantly know where they are and are overwhelmingly pleased with the higher level of service.
