Deb makes window art

Jun. 10, 2015 ⋅ Categories: Off the Clock

Deb has a unique hobby of transforming old windows and recyclable paper into beautiful art. She salvages old wooden windows and strips and oils them.

She then blends her own recipe to make paper by using reclaimed materials to create colorful paper sheets that are layered onto the glass creating a stained glass effect.

They are striking and colorful wooden panels that can be used as window coverings, outdoor privacy screens, or wall art.

After years of trial and error with making paper, I finally found a great way to be creative plus do my part to recycle material that generally finds its way into the landfill.”
