Alta Vista CU had completed two of three planned new branches with Momentum. The prototype was performing very well, but to date, had only been applied to interior renovation locations. The 3rd location would be a new free-standing retail branch. The challenge would be delivering that branch in the middle of a planned shopping development, on a leased site, with multiple other buildings underway. Coordination and integrating with the developer's team would be key.
The design solution, developed collaboratively with Alta Vista, captured the building look and feel they were after. The prototype branch layout was maintained and the design team even added a small ATM drive-thru that could provide full service in the future. A very small site would be developed to its maximum potential.
Momentum worked successfully with the developer to gain city approvals and ensure the project met the needs of a dynamic, and scary, economic environment without ever compromising the Alta Vista objective; a great, easy to use branch positioned to be a long-term landmark for the retail center and the neighborhood.
The Alta Vista branch was the first building opened in the new center...right on time and under budget. The membership is thrilled.
