We are seeking a summer interior design intern to join our team in our Seattle office. The goal of Momentum’s Interior Design Intern Program is to provide experience to the many aspects of the interior design practice. Working directly under the Design Director, the Interior Design Intern’s primary purpose is to support interior design, production and presentation requirements for Momentum projects, to assist with graphic design, and client facing materials creation and provide materials library and team administrative support.
The Interior Design intern will support all designers on the Momentum design team as well as provide administrative support to the Momentum construction management team.
The Interior Design intern position is classified as a Temporary Employee position and will have a set start and end date within a predetermined, limited time period. This is a paid, hourly position with an anticipated workload of 32 hours/week.
- Actively enrolled college student working toward a Bachelor’s degree from a CIDA accredited school in interior design or related degree; a minimum of Junior-level course completion preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCad, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in Revit, Enscape and virtual reality video production considered a plus.
- Candidate should be based in Seattle during the length of the internship.
- Valid driver’s license
