Branch Projects
Fibre Federal Credit Union

The Challenge

Grow in a way that strengthens community values

Project Background

Founded in 1937, Fibre Federal Credit Union, a Longview, WA institution, greeted the new century with a decade of unprecedented growth. This success, combined with organizational evolution, meant that more convenient branch locations were needed to meet the growing membership network.

Branch Network Optimization

Fibre turned to Momentum for help. Our team defined the credit union’s needs and developed a clear branch network optimization strategy. Momentum designed and built two new branches and completed one interior renovation, showcasing the institution’s deep Columbia Gorge roots. The main branch was connected with a direct walkway to the headquarters, allowing operations staff to have “next door” access.

They’ve been an invaluable business partner and adviser to us over the years as our credit union has grown.”

Larry Hoff, Former President & CEO / Fibre Federal Credit Union

Momentum Moment

Each branch features a theme that incorporates elements of the local towns, from wall size photos of local landmarks to textures and materials that capture the atmosphere of the areas. In 2015, Fibre acquired 5 new coastal Oregon locations through a merger. Momentum quickly completed an audit of the new locations, and delivered a plan to integrate Fibre’s adaptive prototype, including a strong visual connection to each new community, across the new branches.
